Hindustan Tin Works Ltd is a leading Indian Can manufacturer that produces a wide range of CANS for food, beverages and non food products. Hoffmann Neopac AG (Hoffmann The Tin), located in Thun, Switzerland, is one of the first companies who confirmed participation and support for Canvironment Week. A leading can maker from Switzerland, who has made significant contributions to the environment by ensuring that promotion of sustainability wherever possible through the business activities which cause no damage to the environment.
   
HANIL CAN COMPANY: SOUTH KOREA
Hanil Can Company the largest can maker from Korea who has made constant contributions to the environment and recycling system in Korea. Environment preservation is one of the top targets at Hanil.

IPA – the International Packaging Association – is an association of 16 major and independent canmakers of which 7 are from Europe, 5 from The Americas and 4 from Asia and Australia. All associates operate in geographically different markets, or in different products.
   
Empac-European Metal Packging
European Metal Packaging, Empac, is an organisation bringing together producers of rigid metal packaging and their national associations to defend the interests and promote the benefits of metal packaging throughout Europe. Metal packaging in Europe comprises some 200 plants and over 50,000 people producing around 70 billion units each year - which represents up to one fifth of Europe's packaging industry by turnover.
   
   

MCMA-Metal Container Manufactures Association of India
Metal Container Manufacturers Association of India (MCMA) is established to promote trade, commerce and industry in India, in particular connected with Metal Containers & its allied products like Caps,Closures, Lug caps, Components, Printed sheets etc.MCMA communicates with respective ministries, government departments, chambers of commerce and other commercial, industrial bodies within or outside India and promotes measures for promotion of the benefits of Metal Packaging throughout India.






Tinplate Promotion Council (TPC)

The Tinplate Promotion Council (TPC) is established by the Tinplate Manufacturing Industry and the Tinplate converting industries. The primary objective of the Council is to promote usage of Tinplate in the country by highlighting its technical, environmental and economical benefits to the packaging sector. The Council has set up three specific groups to address — product design and development, marketing and publicity and publications. In this endeavour the Council has streamlined a few activities to be implemented that include inter-alia international seminars, a quarterly newsletter, a manual on tinplate and participation in specific exhibitions.
   
COLLECT-A-CAN
Collect-a-Can is a joint venture between shareholders ArcelorMittal South Africa (Africa's major steel producer and producer of tinplate for food and steel cans) and Nampak (Africa's largest packaging company and metal can manufacturer). They are involved in the recovery of all scrap tinplate generated in the tinplate and can-making processes, including sludge, cut-offs (skeletons), misprints, sub-standard fills, and most importantly the recovery of used metal cans. Collect-a-Can is dedicated to ensuring that used beverage cans and consequently tinplate, exist in harmony with the environment and is therefore involved in all the cradle-to-cradle aspects of can manufacture.
